WhereToThrive stores account emails, saved searches, waitlist submissions, generated report IDs, and lightweight product events needed to operate and improve the service.

How we use data

We use this data to run the quiz, save results, generate reports, measure product health, and respond to user requests. We do not sell personal information.

Analytics

The site can use privacy-focused analytics when configured. Analytics are used to understand aggregate traffic and product usage.

Accounts and deletion

Signed-in users can delete their account from the app. Account deletion removes saved searches, profiles, city notes, comparisons, reports, sessions, and matching waitlist entries, and anonymizes product events and feedback that were tied to the account.

For this MVP, auth tokens are stored in browser localStorage. Treat shared devices as untrusted and sign out when finished.

Abuse controls

Write endpoints use basic rate limiting to reduce automated abuse of auth, events, waitlist, reports, feedback, and workspace actions.
